How many CEUs do I need to get recertified as a THW doula?

• You will need to complete 20 CEUs.
  • 3 CEUs must be on Suicide Prevention specifically. The other 17 (or more) CEUs can be on a topic of your choice, as long as it relates to your doula practice. This OHA website provides several options for Suicide Prevention training. 

As you complete your CEUs, make sure you are getting some form of proof that you completed the training, with hours included (most often a certificate) and sending them to Delia as you complete them. You do not need to send them all at once! These certificates need to be sent to Delia at least 3 months before your expiration date.
