What is a CEU?

CEUs are Continuing Education Units, and are measured in hours. One CEU is one hour of continuing education. These units are essential for maintaining and renewing your certification as a THW doula.

It is important to keep track of how many CEUs you complete. You need to have at least 20 CEUs (hours) in order to be recertified as a THW doula. 3 CEUs must be on Suicide Prevention specifically, the other 17 or more are up to you. The CDP team will do our best to regularly share upcoming training opportunities, but you can also independently search for training!
